I had been eyeing a 70s dress from the last sale but I did not get one since they did not have my size. Girls, you will be surprised that despite the clingy stretch fabric, the cuts are flattering and better yet, you get a size smaller than usual! That's what I found out anyway with the seventies/70s dress. It would have fit better if they had an XS (I'm usually a small or medium) but since I really wanted it, I settled for a small. Now doesn't that make you want to buy more? LOL!
So I got one in fudge (brown) for $70 (about 65% less than retail). They also had it in ginger (orange) and purple. F/W 05.
Then this one caught my eye:
One of the ladies was wearing one in black and white so I asked her where to get it. I ransacked the bin where all the two tone tops were and got this, also in fudge and F/W 05. It was only $60 down from the retail price of $175. They also had some in the pre-spring or cruise collection prints.
I tried on her famous Mexico dress as well but they had the same fudge, ginger and purple colors. So I passed with the intention of getting one at the next sample sale.
I only had an hour to spare. I could have probably bought more but since all sales are final, I wanted to make sure that what I got works with my current wardrobe. Now, if only they could arrange the clothes on the rack by style, then by color, it would speed up the time looking for a coveted item and I'd probably snatch up more. Until next time!
